We’re a small group of video production specialists with a far-reaching network of on-call professionals. We work on both local and national levels with our clients.
With our personalised approach to client service it’s not simply about fulfilling a brief and signing off. Orsino Media creates genuine, long-term partnerships with our clients and their brand and we have a personal commitment to the success of each project.
For the team, it’s all about providing consistent service in tandem with creative solutions. We’ll make suggestions where appropriate, find improvements where we can and guide our clients through the video making process to so they can maximize their investment.

Ben Whimpey
Creative Director
With over 15 years experience in the business Ben is one of Melbourne’s leading video production experts and the driving force behind Orsino Media.
As a hands-on practitioner Ben brings the technical skills of camera operation, videography, vision switching, editing and direction to his productions.
An entrepreneur and a communicator at heart, Ben is the linchpin between the client, the brief and the Orsino team. The outcome of his unique ability to network, find creative solutions and find the right fit for a project is a seamless production that hits the mark.

Nathan Field
Producer
Nathan brings a creative edge to his work as producer from conception to completion, balanced with a clear head for functional processes and working closely with stakeholders. His focus is on creating a sound brief tied with rigorous planning and timely implementation.
Nathan is also a live vision switcher, an aspiring Steadicam operator and an antique lover. He is passionate about the potential of ideas and believes in the power of perspective that a single personality can bring to the table.

Manuel Mejia
Head of Post-production
With over 15 years experience as an editor, Manuel has a career history that is diverse as it is colourful. From his own production company (in Venezuela) Manuel made a wide range of musical documentaries; to Silver Sun Pictures in Canberra; through to his current work editing a 2 hour documentary about 3 Australians in a 5700km bike ride through Southern Africa - Manuel is up for any editing challenge. He was recently a judge for the Canberra Short Film Festival.
Danielle Carter
Administrator/ PA
With a strong background in communication and customer service, Danielle is a seasoned project manager with experience in each stage of the production process. Working towards a career in television/film production, Danielle holds a consistent and successful track record in the management of projects.

Jane Lewis
Editor
Jane is a videographer, editor, project planner and producer with a background in broadcasting – producing TV commercials whilst working at a rural TV station. Bringing a wide range of experience to Orsino Media, Jane has a great talent in capturing the key points of a special event and packaging them into a memorable record.
Philip McShane
Sales & Marketing
Philip is a strategist, marketer and business analyst with over 20 years’ experience in the corporate and small-to-medium business environments.
He has the ability to work with our clients to understand their goals and to translate these into successful outcomes through visual media. He also has deep insights into the communication processes and how to ensure messages stay on track.
With a Masters of Marketing he has extensive experience and expertise in sales, corporate events, training and business management, Philip has an abiding passion in all things marketing.
